SPOTLIGHT ON SEATTLE’S
ICONS
In partnership with Open Tabs, I worked on the social media launch for the Champions of Change basketball tournament in Seattle.
The tournament, which brought together some of the city’s most celebrated athletes, including Jermaine Kearse, Rodney Stuckey, Will Conroy, and Katie Fiso, needed powerful visuals to drive engagement and promote the event across social media platforms. My role was to deliver standout Instagram content that highlighted the contributions of each player to the tournament.

IN THE
SPOTLIGHT
As a video editor for this project, I was tasked with creating individual Instagram posts for each athlete. Each video required an editing style that matched their personality and playing style, ensuring their unique impact on the tournament was showcased in an authentic way. From dynamic highlights to reflective moments, the edits balanced energy and emotion, drawing viewers in.

Each Instagram post captured the essence of these celebrated players, connecting with fans on a personal level. The challenge was to turn a short video into a compelling narrative that reflected the spirit of the Champions of Change tournament, and I delivered a cohesive series of posts that kept the audience engaged.

CELEBRATING INSPIRATION THROUGH
SOCIAL MEDIA
The success of the videos extended beyond the athletes themselves, as they played a pivotal role in the tournament's social media buzz. These posts not only promoted the event but also reinforced the message of change and inspiration that the tournament stands for.
